Day 2: Simba Camp to Kikelewa Camp

Overnight: Kikelewa Camp (3,600m/11,811ft)
Day 3: Kikelewa Camp to Mawenzi Tarn Camp
Terrain: Alpine desert
Overnight: Mawenzi Tarn Camp (4,330m/14,206ft) at the base of Mawenzi Peak
Day 4: Acclimatization Day
Location: Mawenzi Tarn Camp
Activity: Optional short hike to explore and acclimate
Day 5: Mawenzi Tarn Camp to Kibo Hut
Overnight: Kibo Hut (4,700m/15,419ft), the final camp before the summit
Day 6: Summit Day
